Autoscoring Capabilities in AIRWays Reporting

Jan 15, 2019

On Monday, January 7, additional autoscoring capabilities were added to AIRWays Reporting for the Interim Assessments. Any scores that were previously awaiting a teacher to enter a score will now be autoscored throughout the week. With this update, all ELA ICA Performance Tasks, the majority of ELA IAB tests, and some items on the math ICA Performance Tasks and math IAB test now have autoscoring capabilities. At any time, teachers can opt to rescore the student’s response in AIRWays Reporting and updated scores will flow downstream into ORS in real time. For additional information on how to rescore a student response, please refer to the AIRWays Reporting Quick Guide available in the ELA/Literacy & Math Assessments resources section under the System InformationQuick Guides sub-folder.

Please note that several items still require teachers to handscore student responses in AIRWays Reporting. The tests that continue to require teacher intervention are: the grade 6 ELA IAB – Brief Write, the grades 3-8 math ICA Performance Tasks, and the grades 3-8 math IAB Performance Tasks. For more details about which tests include handscored items, please refer to the Interim Assessment Handscored Items spreadsheet available in the ELA/Literacy & Math Assessments resources section under the Interim Assessments sub-folder.
