An issue has been discovered when testing on Google Chromebooks that is blocking text to speech in the secure browser. For the time being, students that require Text To Speech should not test on a Chromebook. Some schools have found uninstalling and reinstalling the secure browser rectifies the issue, but we recognize this may not be a viable option and is not a long term solution. The AIR team is working with engineers at Google to identify and resolve the issue. Students requiring text to speech can still test on other devices like laptops and desktops.
