Paper LCI Now Available

Jan 21, 2021

The paper versions of the Learner Characteristics Inventory (also known as LCI) are now available in the Accessibilities & Accommodations resources folder. This paper document (PDF) provides the criteria for participation in the Idaho Alternate Assessments (IDAA). There is one LCI for grades 3-8 and one for high school.

The online LCI test window is available from Monday, February 1 through Friday, May 21. This survey must be taken in the Data Entry Interface (also known as DEI) to verify if a student is eligible to take the IDAA test in ELA and Math. The Data Entry Interface system card can be found in the Idaho Alternate Assessments page of the ISAT portal.

After completing the TA Certification Course, proctors will log into the Data Entry Interface to complete the online LCI for each student that will take the IDAA tests, when the test window opens for ELA/Math tests on Monday, March 15. Students will not be able to access the IDAA ELA/Math tests until a proctor completes the online LCI for that student.
