Test Settings and Tools Upload File

Mar 22, 2019

After opening the summative test window, it has been brought to our attention unintended changes to the students test settings portion of the View/Edit student page and the “Test Settings and Tools” Upload file were introduced in the TIDE configuration.

It is not our practice to implement changes at the beginning of the test window without advanced notification and we apologize for introducing this issue.  Unfortunately, we are unable to revert the system and must update the Test Settings and Tools Upload file.

The AIR team will be posting a new Test Settings and Tools upload file on Monday, March 25.  Districts that have not previously uploaded student test settings must download and use the new template.  Districts that need to add or update student test settings must also use the new template or make changes manually in the View/Edit student page Monday, March 25.

Districts that previously uploaded student test settings or manually entered student test settings prior to March 22, 2019 will not need to take any action.  The system will retain the information submitted and students will receive the appropriate tools, supports and accommodations. Please note: upload templates prior to the version posted on Monday, March 25 will not work going forward. The Idaho Help Desk and the SDE Assessment Team are prepared to help districts process upload files and make student test setting updates and, again, we apologize for this inconvenience.

If you require any additional information or assistance, please contact the Idaho Help Desk.
