Updates to Test Settings and Tools resources are now available.

Mar 26, 2019

The documents listed below have been updated to reflect the changes to the Test Settings and Tools in TIDE that were released this past weekend. Additionally, the terms stimuli and passages have been used interchangeably – but we want to differentiate their use between the ELA and Math content areas.  We are not changing expectations or settings for students on the 2019 assessment.  As a reminder, determining whether or not students should receive an accommodation or a designated support is part of the decisions documented in their education plans. If the decisions have been made to allow students to use “stimuli” or “stimuli and items” for ELA Performance Tasks, no changes need to be made in TIDE for this school year, regardless of the fact that those tools are now listed as accommodations instead of designated supports.

  • Table 8 of the Online TIDE Help Guide - updates to this specific table will reflect in TIDE on 3/27. We will post an announcement once the updates are available.
