The latest versions of the desktop Secure Browsers (version 14) for Windows and macOS were released Tuesday, July 27th, 2021. The desktop Secure Browsers will only be offered in 64-bit versions.
Existing versions of the Windows Secure Browser will be supported until August 31st, 2021. Additionally, the macOS Secure Browser 12.5 will remain available to support macOS 10.13-10.15. You can view more information about the secure browsers on the Secure Browser System Requirements page.
Please note the mobile Secure Browsers (version 7) for ChromeOS and iPadOS are not changing for the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year (August 1st, 2021 through August 31st, 2021).
Please also note that the minimum supported version of ChromeOS for the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year (August 1st, 2021 through August 31st, 2021) is ChromeOS 91.
