When is the IDAA Summative Assessment testing window?

The In-Person IDAA ELA/Math, & Science Summative Assessment testing window is from Monday, March 14, 2022 through Friday, May 13, 2022.

What is the LCI?

The LCI is completed by the teacher in the Data Entry Interface for students who qualify for the Idaho Alternate Assessment before the student begins testing.

What does it mean to have a student who is "dual enrolled"?

Due to certain circumstances, a student may need to be enrolled in two or more schools within the same district or different districts at the same time. A student needs to be dual enrolled when a student takes one subject at one school and a different subject at another school.  Refer to the Dual Enrollment in TIDE Quick Guide for detailed steps on how to add/edit students that need to be dual enrolled.

Please note: only DAs, DCs, and SCs have permission to add students in TIDE.

What is the purpose of the Idaho Portal?

The Idaho Portal acts as the gateway to all The CAI systems. The portal provides links and resources to help students and educators take full advantage of CAI systems.

What type of calculator will be available in the Secure Browser?

Grades 6 through high school mathematics tests include a segment with an embedded calculator available and another segment where the embedded calculator is not allowed and is not available for testing. Grades 5, 8, and 11 science tests include an embedded calculator.

The embedded calculator type will vary by grades as follows:

Elementary (grade 5 science): Standard Calculator
Middle School (grades 6, 7, and 8 mathematics & grade 8 science): Scientific Calculator
High School (grades 9, 10, and 11 mathematics & grade 11 science): Full Function Calculator
