New Secure Browsers are now available for all desktop operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux). Secure Browsers are updated on a yearly basis and will need to be downloaded for student testing during the 2019-20 school year. These Secure Browsers can be accessed via the Secure Browsers icon found on the home page of the portal. The Secure Browser for Chrome OS will be released on July 1. All other mobile devices will not require a new Secure Browser. As a reminder, Secure Browsers for desktop operating systems and Chrome OS will need to be installed by August 30. Until then, students can continue to use the 2018-2019 Secure Browsers that were used for Spring 2019 Summative testing.
Technical documentation to assist with downloading of the new Secure Browser will be available in the coming weeks. We will post an announcement as soon as those materials are available.
