2021 Summative Assessments

Mar 15, 2021

The ELA/Literacy, Mathematics, and Science ISATs and the ELA/L, Mathematics, and Science Idaho Alternate Assessments (IDAA) in-person, online summative test window opens today, Monday, March 15.

For additional details on the in-person, online summative test administration, please consult the 2020-2021 Online Summative Test Administration Manual (TAM). New this year, the Online Summative TAM now includes all ISAT and IDAA test information.

Test Administrators (proctors) may access these in-person, online summative tests by selecting the Test Administration card on the ELA/Literacy & Math Assessments, Science Assessments, and Idaho Alternate Assessments pages. Students will take these in-person, online summative tests in the Idaho Secure Browser.

Prior to students taking any IDAAs, the Learner Characteristic Inventory (LCI) must be completed in the Data Entry Interface (DEI) for each student. The DEI can be accessed on the Idaho Alternate Assessments page. Alternate Assessments cannot be taken remotely and must be administered in-person.

In-person, online summative ELA/Literacy and Mathematics ISAT student scores will be available in Reporting once BOTH test components (CAT and PT) are submitted. Scores will begin flowing into Reporting within 10 days of submission of BOTH test components (CAT and PT). As a reminder, scores will not be available this school year for Science ISATs or any IDAA tests.

Online remote administrations will be available on Monday, April 12. Districts are encouraged to test all students in-person. If remote testing is required, districts must contact SDE if their application was not submitted by the deadline of March 1.
