Is Text-to-Speech (TTS) available in Spanish?
Yes, as an embedded designated support for Math and Science stimuli and items. This requires text-to-speech and language/presentation settings in TIDE.
How do I administer a Math test in Spanish for a student?
Language presentation will need to be set to Spanish in TIDE for Math (CAT & PT), before a student starts their Math assessment.
Select the Math test(s) you wish to administer by marking the checkbox for each test you want to include.
There will not be a Math Summative Spanish test listed in the TA Interface for the test administrator to select.

How do I administer a Science test in Spanish for a student?
Language Presentation will need to be set to Spanish in TIDE for Science, before a student starts their Science assessment.
Select the Science Summative Spanish test(s) you wish to administer by marking the checkbox for each test you want to include. Science tests will have a Spanish version of the test you will need to select in the TA interface.

What if I am unsure about the student's Spanish language settings in TIDE?
Before approving the student for a test you can check a student's test settings and accommodations by clicking the test settings information icon for that student in the TA Interface.
